Colour
Intense ruby red, tending towards garnet with aging.
Aroma
Intense and rich in fruity notes, cherry, plum and dark berries in preserve, light flowery and evolution towards balsamic and lightly spicy hints, thanks to the aging in French oak tonneau.
Taste
Full and highly warm in the mouth, but fresh and harmonic with fruity and spicy references as well. Tannins are sweet and the taste-aroma persistence lasts long.
Pairings
It’s perfect for the whole meal, but it goes particularly well with meat dishes and game. Ideal with aged and veined cheeses.
